“Umami,” an essence of the food culture nurtured in Japan

There are two restaurants and a cafe within the Tokyo National Museum, where we create memorable moments for guests with a deep appreciation for Japanese culture and aesthetics.
Japan’s distinctive sensibilities have been refined over time and passed down through generations. Inspired by this rich heritage, we seek to express the beauty of Japan through Umami, the very essence of Japan cuisine. We invite you to enjoy a special culinary experience in a setting steeped in history and culture.
